Congratulations to the 9/1's Team of the Month for September!

As a result of their great match reports every week, The 9/1's were awarded the Team of the Month for September and enjoyed dinner courtesy of our major sponsor - The Point! Thanks to Taren Point Bowling Club ...... On Tuesday 22nd November the 9/1’s braved the rain even though training was cancelled to enjoy a team dinner at The Point at Taren Point Bowling Club. The 9/1’s were given their own table right by the novelty machines which were given a thorough workout. Unfortunately the team didn't come away with the iPad but we did manage to win a car, boat and a whoopee cushion. Three jugs of soft drink were served and drunk quickly with some players drinking all three flavours at once! As soon as 5:30pm ticked over we ordered our choice of Spaghetti Bolognese, Calamari and Chips or Chicken and Chips which was served promptly. I don't know if that was because of all the noise we were making from the excitement of being out at a team dinner. A great time was had by all except Rivva who was at home recovering from his recent operation to remove his tonsils. Get well soon Rivva. Thanks to Taren Point Bowling Club!
